What is the Farewell Sermon?

The Farewell Sermon is the final speech of the Prophet Muhammad to all humankind, which he delivered during his last pilgrimage shortly before his death in 632. This universal speech includes various valuable suggestions to all people in different topics such as women`s rights and equality of mankind.

The aim of this web page is to collect and share the translations of the Farewell Sermon of the Prophet Muhammad in different languages. We would like to attract more attention to this special sermon.

At the moment we have only a few translations. If you have other translations in different languages, please do not hesitate to send them to us. We will publish them on our web page. The Prophet Muhammad says in his Farewell Sermon "all those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly." In this sense, other links and applications for mobile devices are also honestly welcome.
